In 1985, it opened the tailoring school Scuola di Alta Sartoria in Penne, Italy. The brand was opened by an expert tailor, Nazareno Fonticoli, and his business partner, Gaetano Savini. In 1959, Brioni opened an atelier in Penne, Abruzzo.
