Joop! is a German luxury fashion brand that offers luxury clothing and cosmetics. In addition to these, the Joop perfume collection features a vast variety of different fragrances.

 

German fashion designer Wolfgang Joop launched the brand in Germany in 1986. Before the launch, the designer had been selling clothing items under his last name since 1981. Joop! is roughly pronounced as Yope in English. Different collections in the clothing line were launched at different times.

 

The Joop perfume collection was introduced with the launch of JOOP! Femme in 1987. After its success, another scent, Joop! Homme, was launched after two years.

 

Joop! Femme for women has an amber-woody fragrance. The scent has top notes of lemon, fruity notes, aldehydes, coriander, and bergamot. In addition to these, the heart notes are jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, orange blossom, and rose. On the other hand, the base notes are sandalwood, amber, vanilla, tonka bean, civet, cedar, oakmoss, patchouli, and musk.

 

Homme is another popular Joop perfume. This cologne for men has an amber fragrance. The top notes are orange blossom, Amalfi lemon, mandarin orange, and bergamot. In addition to these, the middle notes are cinnamon, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, cardamom, and heliotrope. On the other hand, base notes are tonka bean, vanilla, vetiver, tobacco, patchouli, sandalwood, and honey.

 

The latest edition of Joop perfume was Joop! Homme Le parfum Joop!. The amber fougere scent was launched in 2022 and the top notes are lavender. In addition to these, the heart note is iris, whereas the base notes are tonka bean, praline, and vanilla.

 

 The brand has around fifty-one fragrances in its collection. The first one was launched in 1987, whereas the latest one was launched in 2022. Other varieties in the fragrance line include: Homme wild, Joop go, dafter shave, Homme absolute, and others. Varieties are available in eau de toilette, eau de parfum, and other varieties.
