Perfumer Rosendo Mateu has created more than eighty fragrances since 1968. He has worked for Puig Company in Barcelona. However, he decided to work on his own house in 2010. Mateu and his son created his first collection of five fragrances. Because of his dedication, commitment, and passion for perfumes, he was named "Master Perfumer" in Puig.His son, Joan, learned the skills from his father and worked as his right hand. He has been working as a fragrance evaluator and also handles production and development. In 2019, he launched his Black Collection, a symbol of the Orient. The fragrances will be housed in lacquered black bottles. This collection featured top ingredients such as bergamot, vanilla, and sandalwood. The creators are quite inspired by Greek civilization and paintings.

The scent has an amber floral accord and was launched in 2017. The scent for men and women was created by the perfumer Rosenro Mateu. Spices and exotic floral notes make up the top notes.
