About the brand:

Narciso Rodriguez is a fashion designer who was born in New York City to Cuban parents. He originally intended to become an architect, but decided to pursue fashion design instead. After working for a number of years at various fashion houses, he launched his own label in 1997. His designs are known for their clean lines and minimalist aesthetic. Rodriguez has dressed a number of high-profile celebrities, including Michelle Obama, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwyneth Paltrow. In 2001, he was named one of Time magazine's "100 Innovators for the New Millennium." In 2006, he was inducted into the CFDA Fashion Hall of Fame.
